Wenger reportedly set to meet Arsenal hierarchy over future

The Arsenal fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern have been inundated with rumours and reports in regards to Arsene Wenger’s position in charge of late.

Le Prof continues to divide opinion amongst our punters and reports from the Sun have at least given our north London locals further insight on the matter, despite the fact they are largely bored of talking about it.

They claim the 67-year-old is set to meet top brass over the course of the international break in order to properly sort out his future in three weeks time. The club’s hierarchy reportedly want a decision made at the end of the month, with the likes of Sevilla’s Jorge Sampaoli, Juventus boss Max Allegri and Red Bull Leipzig chief Ralph Hasenhuttl thought to be of interest.

Wenger is widely reported to have a two-year deal on the table, though whether it will be signed remains the million dollar question. For the Arsenal fans frequenting our bar, they hope it’s sorted out very quickly.
