The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are still furious after their side’s latest defeat against Liverpool.
You can understand why, too, as there was so much wrong with that performance as well as the fact that there now seems to be serious unrest at the club.
The Gunners were poor from the get-go at Anfield over the weekend as Liverpool swept them aside with a fine performance.
Much of the talk surrounding the game was about why Alexis Sanchez was dropped for the game, too, with it now emerging (via The Times) that the Chilean and Arsene Wenger have not been seeing eye-to-eye of late.
Indeed, the South American – known for his strong will-to-win and evident hatred of losing – has cut a forlorn figure at times in recent weeks with the Gunners playing poorly in most competitions.
For many Arsenal fans, then, it’s the seeming lack of ambition from the club that has caused this rift but for other onlookers what Wenger has done is actually been backed.
Here, then, is some of the best reaction on Twitter supporting Wenger’s dropping of the attacker…
If Alexis stormed out of training then Wenger was right to drop him. The question is why he stormed out of training?

He if walked off halfway through a training session then Wenger was right to drop him.

If Sanchez was acting up and being Mr Selfish, then Wenger did the right thing. It's over for both of them. Long live the new Arsenal.
