Our West Brom fans here in the Transfer Tavern are feeling as positive as they have for some time at the moment and with The Telegraph reporting that Morgan Schneiderlin could be on the way, things could get even better.
The French midfielder is highly rated by many punters here in the Transfer Tavern but crucially hasn’t been by Jose Mourinho at Manchester United this season.
Indeed, the former Southampton man has had very little in the way of minutes this year at Old Trafford and that appears to have given the Baggies the green light to launch a £18 million move for the midfielder.
Many here by the bar, not just the West Brom fans, have been impressed with Tony Pulis’ men’s performance so far this season and they genuinely look like they could challenge for Europe this year.
They’ll need some extra quality if they want to prolong that challenge, though, and so the signing of Schneiderlin would surely be a top start to that.
Our landlord certainly agrees and thinks with the Frenchman and a couple of other names, it could be a hugely memorable season for the club.
