West Bromwich Albion fans took to Twitter to call out the club over a ‘lie’ about the whereabouts of Oliver Burke and Kyle Edwards
The club’s official Twitter account put out a tweet to let fans know that the Scotsman and Edwards missed the photoshoot due to illness.
Fans believed that the club were covering for the 23-year-old Burke, with one user believing the Scotland international was sorting out a move away from the club.

Burke hasn’t enjoyed much success since signing for West Brom from German side Red Bull Leipzig back in the summer of 2017 for a fee believed to be £15m and was linked with a return to the Bundesliga earlier this month by the Daily Mail. Edwards, meanwhile, does appear to have been given the benefit of the doubt by these Baggies.
The attacker has made just 24 appearances for the club, scoring a meagre one goal and assisting just three (via Transfermarkt).
It seems West Brom fans aren’t believing a word of what their club is saying and took to Twitter to tweet their reactions.
