After a dreadful start to their first campaign at the London Stadium, the Hammers propping up the bar are eagerly awaiting the New Year sales, hoping Slaven Bilic is afforded funds to truly improve the side.
Well, as optimistic as they are about it, reports from the London Evening Standard have proved rather divisive.
Marouane Fellaini is reportedly being eyed as Bilic tries to bring some more physicality to the ranks, whether he opts to use the Belgian in either a holding or attacking role.
Versatile in that regard, the former Everton man is not a popular figure amongst the Red Devils propping up the bar, a symbol of the dreadful David Moyes ‘era’ at Old Trafford.
Still, the 29-year-old could give the Irons another dimension up front, a presence lacking due to Andy Carroll’s perennial injury problems.
Over the past few years, the afro-headed midfielder has been more of a laughing stock since his move to United, though was a wonderfully direct talent when at Everton.
However, it’s hard to see either the West Ham or Man United supporting punters getting that excited about the notion of him moving.
