West Ham United have posted a throwback video on Twitter, showing Michail Antonio’s goal against Tottenham Hotspur, and a lot of fans are loving both the goal and the very entertaining celebration.
The English attacker scored the only goal in the game, which came midway through the second half, to take the three points back to East London. In celebration, he decided to do a dance in front of the Spurs fans at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, via BBC Sport.
Spurs had only just moved into the stadium at the time and Mauricio Pochettino’s men had won all four games prior to the visit from the Hammers. So the result was even sweeter for the West Ham faithful as it was the first loss the home side suffered at the new ground and the result will therefore go down in history for both sides.
It was also the first goal scored by an away side at the stadium, after 427 minutes of keeping a clean sheet in all competitions, per BBC Sport.
Clearly the Irons fanbase enjoyed the throwback as they flooded to express their enjoyment at recalling that great away day.
