West Ham United will possibly have quite a big transfer window coming up after this season ends as they will look to not be as involved in the relegation fight as they have been this season.
Michail Antonio’s recent goals have helped the side start to push away from the drop zone as they are now four points away from AFC Bournemouth in 18th, per BBC Sport, and a lot of Hammers fans are loving the latest news surrounding his future.
According to The Athletic, the English attacker is very keen to stay at the club and wants to finish his career at the Irons. He is currently in the final year of his contract but hopes his performances can help him sign a new deal.
The £8.55m-valued 30 year-old has four goals this campaign, which is the joint third best in the squad, whilst he also has the most average shots per game at 2.5 and the second most completed dribbles on average also 2.5, per WhoScored.
Clearly many of the fan base appreciate this attacking intent and they see him as a valuable player as they believe that his stance on his contract situation is a positive one, with a lot saying the club should offer him a new deal.
