West Ham United: Fans annoyed by Adrian’s post after Liverpool defeat

West Ham United suffered yet another Premier League defeat on Monday night, going down 3-2 against Liverpool at Anfield.

There were some positives for the Hammers, who at least gave the Reds a game and even managed to take the lead during the match when goals from Issa Diop and Pablo Fornals put them 2-1 up. Ultimately, it wasn’t enough and Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane fired Jurgen Klopp’s side to three points, a result which leaves West Ham in the relegation zone with just 11 games left to play (BBC Sport).

After the game former Irons goalkeeper Adrian, who now plays for Liverpool of course, posted a message on his official Twitter account which simply read: “The Republic of Liverpool #ADR13N #YNWA.”

It seems that this has annoyed some West Ham supporters, who feel that the 33-year-old Spaniard’s post lacks class and is showing little respect for his former club.
