Loads of West Ham United fans have been calling for the club to sack David Moyes and replace him with Kevin Nolan after their 2-0 defeat against Manchester City on Wednesday.
The Hammers only re-appointed the Scot back in December following the dismissal of Manuel Pellegrini (Sky Sports), but he hasn’t really managed to turn things around in east London.
Indeed, he has won just one of the seven Premier League games he has taken charge of, losing four and drawing the other two (Transfermarkt). As a result, they remain firmly in danger of suffering relegation and sit third from bottom with just 12 games remaining (BBC Sport).
Nolan, who previously managed Leyton Orient and Notts County, was brought in as part of Moyes’ staff earlier in February along with former England coach Paul Nevin (talkSPORT). The former midfielder of course played for the Hammers, making 157 appearances and scoring 31 goals in that time (Transfermarkt).
It seems that despite the fact that the former Manchester United boss has only just been appointed by the club, loads of West Ham fans would like to see him sacked and Nolan promoted to manager until the end of the season at least. Indeed, many were not happy at all with what they believe were negative tactics by Moyes in the game at the Etihad.

Here is what some had to say about it on Twitter…
Moyes finished as a manager. Get kevin nolan in for rest of the season. There I said it

Even if the owners didnt want to pay out for another manager, I’d rather give it to Kevin Nolan for the rest of the season.

Kevin Nolan for whufc manager!

Let Kevin Nolan take charge, we have nothing to lose. I’d rather us lose 8-0 today then 2-0 and see the woeful tactics and clear guidance to not score and park the bus.
The mentality of this football club at present is atrocious— Chris Doyle (@cjdoyle84) February 19, 2020
1/ 2 Dear Mr @davidgold , please read these two tweets. Please give us West Ham fans some dignity back, let us go down fighting.
Give Kevin Nolan the job now, and we’ll accept our fate for better or worse.

Give Kevin Nolan the job and make Mark Noble his assistant.
