West Ham were back to winning ways on Saturday after they managed to scrape a 1-0 victory against Southampton. Manuel Pellegrini has been under severe pressure over the last few weeks, but his players showed they’re willing to up their game to make sure he stays in charge.

Michail Antonio was a standout performer for the Hammers up front, and he was rated 9/10 and labelled “immense” by Football London. They chose to compliment his link-up play with Sebastien Haller and his willingness to work hard for the team. So far this Premier league season, he’s been rated an average of 7/10 by WhoScored, but he clearly hit new heights against the Saints .
West Ham’s official Twitter account were quick to highlight just how good his game was in a tweet, pointing towards his seven dribbles, and 28 duels, among other stats. They described him as a “beast”, and fans were quick to reply with compliments on his performance and all-round ability.
