Fans of West Ham United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which the club shared footage of Said Benrahma’s highlights during their 2-1 win over Leeds United on Friday.
Since joining West Ham from Brentford, in what is originally a one-year loan deal that West Ham will make a £20.79 million permanent move next summer, Benrahma had, prior to the Leeds fixture, struggled to convince David Moyes he was ready for a Premier League start for the club.

However, Moyes finally named the £19.8 million-rated 25-year-old in his starting XI against Marcelo Bielsa’s side, and, although the winger did not manage to be directly involved in a goal, he nevertheless impressed in the 2-1 victory.
Over the course of his 84 minutes on the pitch, Benrahma took six shots, made one key pass and completed three dribbles, culminating in a WhoScored match rating of 6.98.
And, after the official West Ham United account posted footage of the Algerian’s highlights from the clash on Twitter, fans of the club flocked to heap praise on the 25-year-old’s performance.
