According to a report by Football Insider, West Ham United are in pole position to sign Celtic star Odsonne Edouard and have made progress behind the scenes in recent days – with many Hammers erupting over this news and the fact they could allegedly land him for just £8 million.
Edouard, who has bagged 20 goals in all competitions for the Hoops this season, has enjoyed a prolific few seasons north of the border – totalling a whopping 57 goals in 100 SPFL appearances (Transfermarkt).

He has also assisted his teammates on 25 occasions in that time, seemingly prompting GSB to take note as West Ham reportedly lay the groundwork to sign him ahead of the summer window.
It is claimed that West Ham wish to reach an agreement ahead of summer transfer window in what could be a really clever piece of business if all goes to plan, resulting in plenty of Hammers fans erupting in response to this ‘class’ rumour – as one supporter called it.
