During West Ham United’s 4-0 victory against Doncaster Rovers in the FA Cup fourth round, many Irons held differing opinions surrounding attacker Manuel Lanzini despite what some might believe to be a steady performance – with these Hammers in particular blasting the Argentine.
David Moyes has re-introduced Lanzini back into the side recently, starting him alongside summer signing Said Benrahma in the attack on Saturday, and he was unlucky not to have more of an impact on the scoresheet despite his flashes of quality.
The 27-year-old, who was the centre of reports last week linking him with a move away in a potential swap deal for Morgan Sanson (The Sun), showed glimpses of his capability alongside the likes of Benrahma and Pablo Fornals.
However, these supporters believe he was slightly too wasteful during another brilliant afternoon for the Irons – with some claiming the midfielder just wasn’t up to par.
