Chelsea haven’t been able to announce a lot of business over the last few weeks and months. It’s been a very quiet summer for the Blues, with the club yet to make a major signing.
That said, they have confirmed a few departures. A handful of Chelsea players have left the club on loan, and many of them are youngsters in search of regular first-team football.
However, this week the Blues have announced perhaps the most bizarre of departures.
He’s been Chelsea’s 3rd choice goalkeeper in recent years.
This is a bizarre one because of his age, and so a loan makes little sense. Nonetheless, Chelsea have, somehow, found a reason to do it – and lots of fans online can’t quite work it out.
Indeed, Chelsea supporters have taken to Twitter to reveal their feelings towards the departure, and it’s fair to say that they are baffled.
