Our Rangers fans here in the Transfer Tavern are desperate to see a new manager come in as soon as possible with this saga really starting to drag on.
The Gers still haven’t found a replacement for Mark Warburton this season with Graeme Murty having only indifferent results up until now at Ibrox as they look to battle with Aberdeen for 2nd place in the league.
Something needs to be sorted soon, then, and our local Gers punters have been taking in the news recently that Gary Rowett could just be their next boss – with talks reported by BBC Sport.
The former Birmingham manager really established his reputation at the Midlands club before being inexplicably sacked with them well in with a chance of promotion.
He could be a gamble worth taking, then, as the Gers look to return to the top of the league over the coming seasons but, nevertheless, he is still a gamble.
