The Newcastle supporters just leaving the Transfer Tavern seem satisfied with the club’s summer business so far.
Rafa Benitez, who orchestrated the Magpies swift return to the Championship will be aiming for survival.
Funnily enough, it seems strange to assume the Champions League winner will do anything but succeed this season.
The Spaniard has welcomed the returning Christian Atsu – the winger has signed on a permanent deal after helping the Magpies reach the promised land last season. While ex-Liverpool defender Javier Manquillo and Eibar’s Florian Lejuene have joined the defence.
After a full season of getting to know his squad, it’s safe to say Rafa has an idea as to who is capable of competing in the Premier League and who would benefit from loan moves away.
And we’ve picked out TWO players who we think could drop back into the Championship…
FREDDIE WOODMAN

The Toon Army are hugely expectant of Woodman who likely is still on a high after winning the under-20 World Cup with England.
The 20-year-old has proved that he is more than capable of making the step up, but he will have to wait for his moment.
Perhaps a loan move away would be the best avenue to take.
JACK COLBACK

The Englishman was a mainstay in the last Newcastle team to get relegated. He played second fiddle to Mohamed Diame and Jonjo Shelvey last season and can expect more of the same this term.
Colback has the heart, but is lacking in quality and it appears Rafa Benitez shares the opinion. Perhaps his old side, Sunderland will have him back?
