Many Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been hailing comments coming from the Fosun Group, as they have reportedly come out and said that they would rather that the Midlands club ‘press on’ rather than ‘cash in on their success’, according to the Daily Mirror (via Talking Wolves).
As per the outlet, players like Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore have been linked with moves away, however, it is said that the Molineux outfit do not want to sell in the upcoming summer transfer window and will ‘slam down the shutters’ on teams chasing their star players.
Indeed, the likes of Jimenez and Traore have been integral to Wolves’ success so far this season, with the former scoring 22 goals and making 10 assists in 44 appearances in all competitions, according to Transfermarkt.
On the other hand, the latter has netted six times and provided 10 assists in 43 games in all competitions for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side (via the website).
