Indeed, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side first asked about Belgian international Origi during the summer and are now ready to firm up their interest.
However, Origi has only played once for Liverpool this season, which has opened the door for an exit.
Interestingly, Nuno sees Origi as good competition for his current crop of strikers, with Raul Jimenez so far their most prolific with three goals this campaign.

Divock Origi has shown that he can produce in the Premier League and has enjoyed success on the international stage, so the Midlands could soon find themselves with a natural goalscorer leading the line come January.
Fosun International have been Wolves’ source of money for signings since they took over at the club, so they won’t be afraid to splash the cash once again on a striker that is desperately needed.
