Many Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have slammed a report linking Raul Jimenez with a possible Molineux exit after Tuttosport (via Talking Wolves) claimed that the Midlands club have named their price for their star man.
As per the report, Wolves reportedly value the 29-year old at €50m (roughly £44.6m) with Juventus apparently still interested in him to replace Gonzalo Higuain. The Italian champions will allegedly propose a two-year loan with a mandatory purchase clause for that figure in 2022.
Comparing the two men in their respective domestic leagues this season, it is clear to see who has been doing better based off their stats. Jimenez has scored more goals and provided more assists, and has also averaged more shots, key passes and dribbles per game than Higuain, according to Whoscored.
Indeed, the Mexican international is enjoying a fine campaign at Molineux so far and several Wolves supporters would likely be gutted if they saw him leave, especially for the price tag that has been quoted.
