Wolves have reportedly scouted Aberdeen talent Lewis Pirie ahead of a potential move.

The Lowdown: Scottish Youth Cup winner

As per The Daily Record, Pirie scored the winner in Aberdeen's 3-2 Scottish Youth Cup win over Queen’s Park on Friday, after coming off the bench.

He is just 15 years of age, and has now netted an extraordinary 33 goals at youth level for club and country combined so far this season.

The Latest: Pirie scouted

According to The Daily Record, the Old Gold have been scouting Pirie amid his impressive cameo on Friday, but face competition from Everton, Brighton and Hove Albion and Sheffield United for his signature.

Aberdeen are also 'keen' to convince the 15-year-old to sign pro forms, which he is eligible to do in January, and he has already trained with the first team.

The Verdict: Get it done

Given his exploits at youth level, it is clear that Pirie has a very bright future. Hailed as an 'exciting' prospect by Aberdeen manager Jim Goodwin, he even claimed that Pirie will get a chance in the first team once he turns 16.

With January just around the corner, the Wanderers are up against it for time in terms of trying to get a deal done, and with the added competition for his signature, this could be one to watch for the supporters during the break for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
