“Woodward, it’s time to act now!” - Liverpool & Man Utd fans intrigued by news fringe man could leave Chelsea

Fans of rival clubs in the Transfer Tavern are eager for further updates on Kurt Zouma’s situation, amid suggestions the Chelsea starlet could leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

The 22-year-old was steadily establishing himself as one of the first names on the Chelsea team sheet last season until an ACL injury saw his campaign end prematurely and rule him out of France’s Euro 2016 bid.

But the two-cap international has hardly featured for the west London club since Antonio Conte took the managerial reigns last summer, clocking up just 23 minutes’ worth of Premier League action this term despite the Italian gaffer’s formation requiring three central defenders.

There hasn’t been much suggestion that Zouma will look to leave the club this summer, but he surprisingly hinted that could be the case when talking to beIN Sports this weekend, telling the French outlet (as translated by The Daily Star); “Leave Chelsea? We’ll see at the end of the season.”

And that news has created quite the stir on social media. Even if he’s struggling for game-time at Stamford Bridge, it appears Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United fans would take Zouma at their club in a heartbeat…
