Our Manchester City fans here in the Transfer Tavern really are looking forward to their season getting underway at Brighton this weekend.
The men from the Etihad are many people’s favourites to win the league this season after signing some bold defensive players and so it remains to be seen whether or not they come good on that.
Indeed, the likes of Kyle Walker and Benjamin Mendy have arrived with the obvious aim of adding more potency going forward and strength at the back but a new centre-half could still be needed.
