It was another truly miserable night for the Newcastle United fans here in the Transfer Tavern, despite the good news in regard to a potential takeover to have emerged earlier on in the day. Indeed, the loss at home to Everton once again highlighted the lack of quality in Rafa Benitez’s squad.
Now staring relegation square in the face, our punters clad in black and white certainly had a lot to say about some of the Toon’s flops last night. While there was much to moan about, one man in particular seemed to annoy the punters clad in black and white who prop our bar up so frequently.

Mo Diame delivered another anonymous performance in central midfield, invoking the ire of Newcastle fans on Twitter. The Senegalese isn’t the most popular figure on Tyneside it’s fair to say and the reaction he sparks certainly is fiery.
