‘Would be the most Jose Mourinho thing ever’ – Man Utd fans fume over reported player talks

The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate for Jose Mourinho to transform the team this summer.

It’s been a decent few years under Mourinho, but there is clearly scope for growth, and with the club still yet to regain their Premier League crown, next season could be his biggest yet.

His fortunes next season could well depend on a few decisions. More specifically, who the Portuguese brings in during the summer transfer window.

However, also on the agenda, it seems, is the retention of current Man Utd players, and one individual that could yet stay at the club is Marouane Fellaini. According to Belgian football journalist Kristof Terreur on Twitter, the two parties are in talks over a new deal, and whilst an agreement isn’t yet close – there is still a chance that one will be found.

Fellaini has been a useful player under Mourinho, often serving as a last-ditch type option when Man Utd either need to hold on to a lead or go for a last minute goal.

However, despite his usefulness, he seemingly isn’t a popular man with Man Utd fans.

Man Utd supporters have taken to the Red Devils page on Reddit to react to the news, and it’s fair to say that they aren’t too happy. Indeed, they’ve spent the last few hours blasting the Belgian – with very few keen to see him turn out at Old Trafford next season.
