Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are certainly looking forward to the new season as they are hopeful that it is going to be a strong one.
The men from Villa Park really have been crying out for some time for a good season and something to cheer about and 2017/18, arguably, looks like it could provide that.
Of course, work still needs to be done over the summer to ensure they are ready to go in August but it certainly appears that Dr. Tony Xia is the man determined to do that.
Indeed, he revealed his determination on Twitter – leaving many Villa fans quick to react.
