The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are expecting a busy summer at the Emirates this year…
With Arsene Wenger’s future still uncertain, many in the Tavern are calling for the Frenchman to move on – but might he not be the only departure at the Emirates over the next few months?
There are a number of players within the Arsenal first team that are, at present, not good enough – and whether it be Arsene Wenger or a new manager – it might be time to move a few of them on.
This is something that the Arsenal fans in the Tavern are all behind, and in truth – a few of them are a pretty excited to see a few familiar faces move on.
With that said, here are 2 Arsenal players fans surely cannot wait to see axed in the summer…
Mathieu Debuchy

Mathieu Debuchy has had an unfortunate spell at Arsenal.
A decent player, the Frenchman impressed when he first joined the club – but an injury forced him out of the team for an extended period.
Following that, Hector Bellerin rose to prominence – and that spelt the end for Debuchy. He was never able to challenge the Spaniard for a starting berth, and has been resigned to a bit-part role ever since.
Given his age, a move makes sense.
Yaya Sanogo

Hands up if you had totally forgotten that Yaya Sanogo was still actually an Arsenal player!
Sanogo hasn’t made a single appearance for Arsenal this season, and that’s with good reason. The Frenchman has never impressed in an Arsenal shirt, and many are hoping that this summer might be the time where he finally moves on.
He isn’t ever going to be a regular for Arsenal, and so a departure makes sense.
