Celtic are riding an unbeatable wave in the SPFL right now, and their supporters are delighted that another league title looks to be heading back to Paradise in the coming months.
The Bhoys, led by Brendan Rodgers, have stormed ahead in the race for the Scottish title, comfortably striding past newly-promoted Rangers and look to have the trophy in the bag.
Whilst their Champions League campaign didn’t really go to plan this time out, they’ll be back for another stab at the big-time next season and with the transfer window now upon us, the chance to improve the squad is an exciting one for manager Brendan Rodgers.
The former Liverpool man needs to add some quality to his ranks and the Celtic fans lined up at the bar seem to agree.
The squad is good enough to compete in the league but in Europe, the Bhoys are someway off.
So with that in mind, here’s 2 players Rodgers look to sell and 2 players he should look to sign this January…
Sell: Gary Mackay-Steven

Gary Mackay-Steven arrived from Dundee United with high hopes placed on his shoulders after some sparkling performances for his former side.
But after making the move to Parkhead, the skilful playmaker has seriously struggled to break into the side and he isn’t a favourite of current boss Brendan Rodgers either.
You could imagine him walking into most teams in Scotland or even the second tier in England but he’s a player that is wasted sitting on the bench at Celtic.
They should recoup some money and move him on.
Sign: Jerome Sinclair

Watford striker Jerome Sinclair struggling for game time at Vicarage Road this season and he’s being tipped for a move away this January.
The former Liverpool youngster needs game time if he is to continue his development but with Isaac Success, Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney in the side for competition, it’s going to be tough for Sinclair.
A loan move to Celtic would be seriously ideal, especially with Moussa Dembele being hotly linked with a move to the Premier league.
Sell: Efe Ambrose

He’s been on the books at Celtic for a while now but it’s clear that Nigerian defender Efe Ambrose isn’t good enough to lead the Bhoys to SPFL titles and Champions League qualification.
He had a disastrous game in Celtic’s struggles out in Gibriltar at the start of the season and after that performance, many Bhoys fans, including those here in
the pub, wanted him out.
But alas, he stayed and has rarely featured in the first-team. Celtic should get rid.
Sign: Reece Brown
He’s the Birmingham City youngster that was tipped for so much by so many but even now, we have rarely seen Reece Brown on the pitch for the Championship side.
Disliked by former manager Gary Rowett for his attitude, he’s had trials with a number of Premier League teams but nothing came to fruition.
Gianfranco Zola isn’t afraid to chop and change his team and with the sale of young striker Alex Jones already completed, we think there would be nothing stopping a side like Celtic bringing in the talented forward.
It’s worth a risk.
