Chelsea and Manchester City have both had rather contrasting seasons this term, with the Blues flying-high at the top of the Premier League and the Citizens recently slipping out of the top-four.
Whilst Antonio Conte’s side look destined to go on and win the title, Pep Guardiola needs to witness big improvements at the Etihad Stadium if they’re to claw their way back into the Champions League spots – and many fans feel they’ll have to spend this month.
Our landlord would like to see City make a statement of intent with a new arrival, whilst the Chelsea fans are keen to see Conte splash the cash to improve the squad depth, as they’re concerned about the ageing old guard at Stamford Bridge.
Whether or not City and Chelsea do open up their wallets before the transfer deadline on Tuesday remains to be seen but they should be considering these TWO players.
Arturo Vidal

Heavily linked with Chelsea since Antonio Conte took over, Manchester City should also consider a move for the Chilean powerhouse.
City have lacked grit in their midfield this season and Vidal would certainly provide that, whilst he has experience of working with Pep Guardiola.
Conte too has worked with Vidal before and the arrival of the Chilean at Stamford Bridge would give the Blues a devastating midfield, partnered with N’Golo Kante, that would prove extremely difficult to break down.
Jose Gaya

The young Spaniard is likely to leave Valencia sooner rather than later, with the Spanish giants struggling both financially and in the league standings.
Jose Gaya is destined for much better things and the Premier League would be the ideal fit.
Capable of performing as a flying wing-back, Gaya could excel in Antonio Conte’s three-man defence; whilst he’d also slot nicely into Manchester City’s defence, as their wide positions in the side lack depth and ability in the long-term.
