3-4-3: If Conte fields this Chelsea XI, they’ll easily beat Leicester on Saturday

After a heavy loss against Tottenham in Chelsea’s last Premier League game, the Blues in the Transfer Tavern are hoping for a better result this time around…

In truth, the Blues had a pretty poor performance, and it left those in the Tavern fearing that Conte’s men could be about to go through a rough run of form – and Conte must ensure that that doesn’t happen.

And whilst Leicester City, on paper – being that they are the reigning Premier League champions – appear as though they will be tough to beat, the truth is that the Blues should win the game comfortably.

The Foxes have struggled this season, and if Conte wants to prove his title credentials – a dominant win is what is necessary.

It surely won’t be easy, though, and the Italian must ensure that he picks the perfect team for the job – and that might mean dropping a few key players along the way.

With that said, if Conte fields this Chelsea XI, they’ll easily beat Leicester on Saturday…

 GK – Thibaut Courtois

Thibaut Courtois will return to the side after a break in the FA Cup.

He has done well this year, but he needs to continue to improve. The Belgian needs to do more talking on the pitch, rather than off it.

 CB – Gary Cahill

Gary Cahill continues to impress, and with John Terry suspended – he will likely captain the side against the Foxes.

He needs to keep performing.

 CB – Cesar Azpilicueta

Always consistent, Cesar Azpilicueta is one of the first names on this team sheet.

He never disappoints.

 CB – Kurt Zouma

David Luiz has looked poor over the last few weeks, and was at fault for both goals against Tottenham.

Kurt Zouma is fit again, and could get a start.

 LWB – Marcos Alonso

Nathan Ake has been recalled as to serve as a back-up to Marcos Alonso, but the Spaniard will likely start on Saturday.

He has looked very good this season.

 DM – Nemanja Matic

Nemanja Matic had a break in the FA Cup, and should be reinvigorated ahead of a tough few weeks of Premier League action.

Leicester are a threatening side offensively, so he will need to be on his game.

 DM – N’Golo Kante

N’Golo Kante is always a starter in this team, regardless of opposition. That won’t change against his former side.

 RWB – Victor Moses

Victor Moses continues to impress on the right-hand side, and Antonio Conte continues to trust him.

His rise has been simply remarkable.

LW – Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard hasn’t been great in recent weeks, but he can always pull something out of nothing. That is why he always plays.

He needs to start scoring like Pedro and Willian, and this game is a good time to start.

 ST – Diego Costa

Diego Costa had a quiet afternoon against Tottenham, and he needs to get back on the scoresheet.

He cannot let his momentum slip.

 RW – Willian

A very tough call for Conte between Willian and Pedro, but the Brazilian just takes it.

He works hard and scores goals – what else do you want from a winger? Expect Pedro to make an appearance at some point, though.
