Brendan Rodgers has delighted the Celtic supporting punters here in the Transfer Tavern, after his magnificent start to life as manager of the Glaswegian giants.
Many of the ardent Celtic nuts here in the bar are already touting Rodgers’s name around as a bloke who could achieve legendary status at such a successful club, with his side 10 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premier League with a game in hand on Aberdeen and Rangers in the second and third.
Celtic are also still in the Champions League, although realistically they are in a battle with Borussia Monchengladbach to try and finish third in the group and reach the Europa League, nonetheless it has been a great effort after being placed in a group with Barcelona and Manchester City.
With the January transfer window on the horizon, talk at the bar has turned towards what business Celtic might look to do, with one fan hopeful of a few new additions in order to really kick fierce rivals Rangers whilst they are down and secure the league title at a canter.
Tavern writer Lee Clarke takes a look at three players which Celtic could sign under the value of £20 million, during the January transfer window.
Fabio Borini

The Sunderland man has been nursing an injury of late although he should be fit and raring to go in time for January, although it remains to be seen whether he will be part of David Moyes’ plans.
Borini has been signed by Rodgers twice previously for Swansea City and Liverpool and he may choose to make it a hat-trick of attempts to sign the player during January, with the player valued at just over £5 million by transfermarkt.co.uk.
One Celtic supporter is chatting to his pal over lunch in the Tavern and he thinks Borini would be a superb signing for a club in the SPL, stating that he hopes Rodgers can pull a deal off.
Joo-Ho Park

Celtic could well look for a reinforcement at left-back during January and this South Korean international could be a good addition to the Celtic squad.
Park is down the pecking order at Dortmund and his value is set at just close to £2 million, according to transfermarkt.co.uk, making the 29-year-old an absolute steal.
One Hoops fan is sat chilling with a game of cards with his pals here in the Tavern and he thinks any player with Bundesliga experience would do well in the Scottish Premier League, stating that Park could well be a shrewd signing for the club.
James Morrison

Morrison has found starting in the West Bromwich Albion side difficult this season and with the player into the last 18-months of his current contract, the club could be tempted to offload him sooner rather than later.
The Scotland international would surely relish the chance to continue his career at a club the size of Celtic and according to transfermarkt.co.uk his valuation is just shy of £5 million.
One Celtic supporting drinker is playing on the bandit here in the Tavern and he thinks Morrison signing for the club would represent a major coup for the club.
Celtic supporters, would you welcome these three to the club this January? Who else should Brendan Rodgers look to sign? Let us know in the comments below!!!
