Celtic have literally torn the Scottish Premiership apart this season, as they look to try and maintain an unbeaten season from start to finish and join some of Europe’s elite in achieving that feat.
Indeed, after they survived a late scare from Rangers last weekend to preserve the record our landlord here at the Transfer Tavern feels that they will continue their run this weekend against Dundee.
Of course, they face a Dundee side who are having a superb season themselves but they simply don’t have enough quality to really challenge the Bhoys in this fixture, in all honesty.
Then, not to mention the fact that Celtic will be looking to bounce straight back after a draw last time out with rivals Rangers, you get an idea that the Hoops could be in for a big win.
So, with that in mind if Brendan Rodgers picks this XI, Celtic will destroy Dundee…
GK: CRAIG GORDON

The Celtic shot stopper made some vital saves in his sides 1-1 draw with Rangers last weekend.
He’ll be expecting a slightly more quiet game this time out. The Scotland number one will be boosted from his display hopefully and be able to keep the sheet nice and clean for Celtic.
MIKAEL LUSTIG

Lustig has been a regular in the starting lineup since he arrived in Scotland, and it’s easy to see why! The Swedish international is a superb and strong full-back.
He seems very committed to the club and knows what the badge on the front of the shirt means.
CB: DEDRYK BOYATA

He seems to of cemented his space in the starting eleven under Rodgers and looks good for it too!
The former Manchester City defender didn’t get an awful amount of time when he first arrived, finding himself second place to a below average Efe Ambrose. However now he’s made the position his own and has adapted well.
ERIK SVIATCHENKO

The Danish international has been superb at the back and it’s likely a number of teams will be interested in his services this summer.
However, for now he is in fact a Celtic player and a good one at that. Sviatchenko is probably now one of the first players on the team sheet for his brilliant performances alone!
LB: KIERAN TIERNEY

The Celtic youngster, highly regarded by many in the game, has been superb for the Bhoys since breaking into the side and now he’s back fully fit it’s likely he’ll be in every starting eleven from now on.
He could cause problems pushing forward against Dundee this weekend.
CDM: NIR BITTON

Bitton has been superb for the Bhoys this season in the heart of their midfield alongside the captain Scott Brown.
Bitton, who at one point looked to have lost his spot to McGregor, has been superb!
CDM: SCOTT BROWN

You cannot have a Celtic team and not have Scott Brown in the heart of their midfield, it’d be like being at the bar at the Tavern and not having a drink in your hand!
Scott Brown bleeds green and white (obviously not for real, otherwise that’d be strange!) He is however Celtic through and through and we are sure he’d love nothing more than to be the captain that leads the Bhoys through a completely unbeaten season.
RAM: JAMES FORREST

This could have been a position filled by Forrest or by Patrick Roberts, but with it being Forrest who has featured more recently, it is very likely that’ll be him who gets the nod in this one.
Forrest has been superb wherever he has played for Celtic this season and they’ll be hoping he can continue that for the remainder of the season.
CAM: STUART ARMSTRONG

If it wasn’t for Dembele, this lad probably would be Celtic’s player of the season!
He’s having the best season he’s had as a pro for sure! With his ties to Dundee United, he will for sure want to get one over on his former rival, as well as trying to help maintain his team’s unbeaten run.
LAM: SCOTT SINCLAIR

What a player this lad has been since arriving in Scotland!
He seems to just love playing under Brendan Rodgers. He has had most of his best years as a pro under him! First at Swansea City and now with Celtic, he’s been a real difference maker for his side this season and they’ll be hoping he maintains it leading into this crucial stage of the season.
ST: MOUSSA DEMBELE

This kid has taken the SPFL by storm and has probably put all the ‘big’ teams on alert this summer for sure.
He just keeps scoring and proving to be one of the best signings last summer and potentially one of the best made by the club. He’s already a hero with the fans who will be hoping the club can him there further than this summer’s window.
