Our Manchester United fans have got their tails up here in the Transfer Tavern and they can’t wait to see their side in action this weekend.

The Red Devils are just a point behind their great rivals Liverpool whilst the top four remains a realistic target for Jose Mourinho’s men thanks to their good run of form.

It’s a run that was extended last time out against a poor Leicester side as United won 3-0 and now they play Watford in a game they’ll be looking for some revenge in.

The Hornets embarrassed Mourinho’s men earlier this season and so they’ll be keen to right some wrongs once kick off comes this weekend at Old Trafford.

Our landlord certainly thinks they’ll be looking to do that, too, and reckons this line-up should see them do it…

GK: David De Gea

If he’s fit, he plays – there can be no doubt about this one.

RB: Antonio Valencia

Valencia’s winger days are long gone now and he certainly looks the business at right back. Jose Mourinho must be impressed.

CB: Eric Bailly

The Ivorian is back in the fold and will look to really kick on his United career from here. So far he’s looked well suited to do just that, too.

CB: Chris Smalling

Chris Smalling is also back in the side but he needs to be wary of letting his form dip as he has seen exactly what Phil Jones can do now this season.

LB: Marcos Rojo

Rojo is fast becoming United’s Mr. Versatile and our landlord expects him to come out on the left side for this one. He’ll need to keep his head, though, as he often loses his cool.

CDM: Paul Pogba

United’s midfield had looked settled at last but it appears to be shifting again. The French midfielder may have to hold to make room for a change further forward.

CDM: Ander Herrera

Despite the rotation in the middle of the park, Ander should remain a constant. He’s been very underrated so far this season for the club.

RAM: Juan Mata

Mata deserves more starts than he gets because he nearly always puts a shift in. Our landlord would play him for this one undoubtedly.

CAM: Henrikh Mkhitaryan

After the game against Leicester, the Armenian has to play here. Mkhitaryan is now looking the force we all know he can be and that has to frighten the life out of the Premier League.

LAM: Marcus Rashford

The goals aren’t as regular this season for Rashford but to be fair to him he’s been played out of position. He’s knuckled down, though, and deserves to keep his place.

ST: Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Ibrahimovic scored his latest goal at the weekend against Leicester and has certainly been one of the players of the year. Now he’ll want to fire United to the top four.
