Yaya Toure

Toure

The powerful central midfielder would represent a real coup for Liverpool and also give Toure the chance to prove his worth to Manchester City.

The Citizens would be pretty stupid to let the Ivorian leave the club in the summer but if they do Liverpool should certainly step in and sign the player.

Toure would offer Liverpool some experience that their midfield is lacking at present and after winning every domestic honour with City, the challenge of using his expertise to aid the Reds in their quest for silverware could be attractive.

Ryan Shawcross

The ex-Manchester United prospect has excelled during eight years with Stoke City and it won’t be long before he makes the step up to a top club once again.

After 264 appearances in the red and white of Stoke City, Shawcross is bound to attract attention sooner rather than later from bigger club.

Liverpool are desperate for some stability at the heart of their defence and Shawcross would offer a knowledge of Premier League football too.

Whether the Potters would be willing to let their influential captain leave is unknown at this stage and it would likely require a large bid to be made

Joe Hart

There has been talk recently that incoming Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola may look to offload current City stopper Hart once he arrives, should the club receive the right bid.

Should that be the case then the England stopper will have no shortage of suitors and one of those may be Liverpool.

If Toure makes the short journey from City to Anfield he could well try and persuade Hart to follow him.

Hart is a world class goalkeeper and at 28-years-old he still has his best days between the posts ahead of him.

Alexandre Lacazette

Lacazette

The Lyon striker looks almost certain to leave the French top flight in the summer, with several Premier League clubs already expressing their interest in the Frenchman.

The 24-year-ols has netted an impressive 64 goals from 165 appearances for his current side and also has a solitary goal for the French national team.

His pace and acceleration are two of his strongest assets and one thing Liverpool have missed up front this season has been pace.

It might take a sizeable bid to get Lacazette away from his homeland but if the club are serious about challenging for the top four, then it could be money well spent.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Oxlade-Chamberlain

The 22-year-old is seemingly set to leave Arsenal at the end of this season after becoming disillusioned with a lack of first-team football at the Emirates Stadium.

Regular football is what the youngster craves and he simply doesn’t play enough consecutive games to get into any sort of consistency for the Gunners.

Liverpool are a club where he could go and be a regular fixture in the team allowing him to fulfil his undoubted potential.

Capable of playing in a number of positions in the final third, Oxlade-Chamberlain would be an assured acquisition for Jurgen Klopp to pursue.
