If Chelsea are to have their way over the summer months they will be appointing Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri as their new boss.
Reports are suggesting that he is going to be the man to lead Chelsea forward, and help bring the glory days back to Stamford Bridge!
It would be a positive move for the club to appoint one of the world’s finest managers, and would no doubt appease the Blues supporters here in the Transfer Tavern.
One die-hard Blues devout is sat munching on his rump steak from the Tuesday night grill menu here in the Tavern, and thinks Allegri is more than capable of bringing the glory days back to Stamford Bridge.
With many players expected to leave the West London-based outfit in the summer, it is anticipated that whoever comes into the club will need to go on something of a spending spree, in order to achieve success.

Paul Pogba
The sought-after France star is set to have his choice of whichever top European club he wishes in the summer and Allegri’s influence might just tempt him to London.
No Champions League football is likely to cause a huge problem for Chelsea, with Pogba simply way too good to not play among Europe’s elite.
The 22-year-old is already one of the best central midfielders in world football and he can only get better, signing him would go a long way to convincing people that Chelsea can get back to winning major trophies once again.
Alvaro Morata
Another current Juventus player who Allegri could pursue is ex-Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, with speculation mounting over his future at the Italian outfit.
Diego Costa looks seemingly unlikely that he will stay at Stamford Bridge beyond this season and the Blues could be on the lookout for a replacement in the summer.
The Spaniard is also being courted by his former club Real Madrid, but the lure of Premier League football could convince him that Chelsea is the right club.
During last season he fired 15 goals for Juventus as they secured the league title and a place in the Champions League final.
Giorgio Chiellini
The 31-year-old has been at Juve since 2005 and he has played over 300 times for the Old Lady, in what has been a sparkling career in Serie A.
At 31-years-old it might be time for the Italy central defender to try his hand at an alternative league, with the Premier League an option should Allegri depart for Chelsea.
The ex-Roma player could stay at the Juventus Stadium for the rest of his career and the fact he is vice-captain indicates he is held in high regard by the club.
John Terry is seemingly set to depart Stamford Bridge in the summer and Chiellini could be just the leader they need to replace him.
Antoine Griezmann
The Atletico Madrid forward has been linked to Chelsea religiously for the last god knows how many transfer windows, but has yet to make the move.
That could change in the summer however with the player reportedly keen to move to a Premier League club sooner rather than later, with the Blues destined to be at the front of the queue to secure his services.
The 24-year-old has a remarkable scoring record for Diego Simeone’s side and has netted 34 goals in just 58 appearances, despite often playing wide or in a number ten role.
The Frenchman wouldn’t come cheap but given the Blues’ dismal season during 2015/16, Chelsea chairman Roman Abramovich is likely to break the bank on several stellar signings in the summer.
John Stones
Chelsea’s need for a defensive addition to their squad will be intensified if John Terry sticks to his word, and departs Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Stones was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea in the summer but Everton wouldn’t budge and refused to sell to their Premier League counterparts.
Still only 21, the ex-Barnsley central defender is set for a bright future in the game and a few eccentric moments this season are unlikely to have deterred the Blues from a bid.
Should the Toffees secure European football ahead of Chelsea however, it could thrown a spanner in the way of any move.
