Liverpool it’s fair to say have not had the best of season’s in the Premier League so far this season due to an underperforming squad.
Saying that though they have had somewhat of a resurgence since the arrival of flamboyant German manager Jurgen Klopp who seems to have turned the club’s fortunes around since taking over from Brendan Rodgers last season.
During the summer Klopp will be keen to make his own mark on a Liverpool squad we he hopes can finally be in with a chance of winning a so far elusive Premier League title.
Rumours persist about the type of player Klopp could be looking to add to achieve his goals as Liverpool boss and one thing is for sure there will be a few players he inherited leave the squad during the summer months.
With rumours that Arsenal man Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could be set to join during the summer, our landlord here in The Transfer Tavern has come up with five players who could follow him to Anfield.

Caner Erkin

Fenerbahce left back Erkin is one man linked with a move to Anfield over the summer as a replacement for Alberto Moreno.
With Klopp looking to make the defence more solid next season Erkin would be a perfect addition to the squad.
Out of contract in the summer and free to sign a pre contract agreement with a new club, don’t be surprised to see him end up at Anfield.
Karim Bellarabi

With Liverpool short of good attacking players Bellarbi would fit in to the style of play Klopp expects from his players.
Bellarbi is not stranger to Klopp due to him currently plying his trade in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen who value the player at around £11.5 million.
Liverpool could face competition for the players signature with a number of other clubs interested in the 25 year old who has scored 15 goals in 72 appearances for Leverkusen.
Gonzalo Higuain

The Argentine striker seems to be a name who pops up every single transfer over a potential move to England.
Liverpool have reportedly already tabled a bid to bring the experienced striker to Anfield during the summer as Klopp looks to add a player who can hit the back of the net next season after the club have struggled somewhat for a prolific goalscorer since the departure of Luis Suarez.
Price could stand in the way of a potential deal with Napoli looking for a bid of around £76 million to tempt them to sell.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen

Barcelona goalkeeper Stegen is another rumoured target for Klopp to bring to Anfield.
The keeper has proved himself as a number one at one of the worlds greatest club sides and Liverpool are reportedly one of number of clubs to have made a bid to bring the keeper to Anfield.
Klopp is in the market for a safe pair of hands in between the posts next season following a season of mistakes from both Simon Mignolet and Adam Bogdan.
Mario Gotze

German midfielder Gotze is another player heavily linked with a move to Anfield.
If Gotze does make the move it would see him reunite with Jurgen Klopp who managed his during his successful spell at Borussia Dortmund.
Gotze was part of Klopp’s squad that won the Bundesliga and reached a Champions League final and he would be a welcome addition to the squad at Anfield.
