Our resident Chelsea fans here inside the Football Transfer Tavern have endured an abysmal season, with them all looking ahead to the Conte revolution next season!
TuttoMercatoWeb is reporting that Antonio Conte is plotting a £22m double move for Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly and Emanuel Mammana of River Plate.
Koulibaly plays at centre half for the Serie A side who have had another impressive campaign in the league, qualifying for the Champions League and for long periods this year being the main rivals to Juventus for domestic glory.
The 24-year-old has been a mainstay in the Naples sides’ defence and would add a further boost to the Chelsea back four after John Terry’s contract extension.
Meanwhile the Blues are also monitoring the youngster Mammana who at the age of 20 already has one international cap to his name, and is reportedly valued at £8 million by the Argentine side.
The Blues are going to be busy in the Summer transfer window as they look to forget the struggles of this season under their new man.

Miralem Pjanic
Pjanic is a top drawer player with bags of international experience for Bosnia & Herzegovina.
The Roma midfielder is entering his prime and has had another strong season at Roma who qualified for next season’s Champions League.
Evidently Conte will be linked to a whole host of Serie A players over the next few months, and Pjanic is set to be one of the most persistent rumours.
Radja Nainggolan
Another Roma player, the Belgian would give Chelsea something their midfield has been lacking this season.
Nainggolan is a tenacious player in both boxes and would be an improvement on the likes of Nemanja Matic, who has seemed far from interested in 2015/16.
The Roma enforcer is equally adept going forward as well as at defending, and has all the required attributes to be a successful Premier League midfielder.
John Stones
Stones looked set for a move to London last season but this never came to fruition, there is a feeling however that a strong EURO 2016 performance could get him a move.
Everton and Stones had quite a few problems this season but there is no denying Stones potential and with the right defensive coaching, he could still reach the heights expected of him. Conte – like many Italian managers – knows how to coach top class defences, and Stones would benefit from this hugely.
Leonardo Bonucci
A former Conte man Bonucci would vastly improve Chelsea’s backline.
Despite John Terry finally signing a new deal, there are question marks over how much the captain will play next season, and so clearly the centre half position at the Bridge is one of the most up for grabs at the club.
Bonucci has a huge wealth of title winning experience for Juventus and would be Conte’s man on the pitch, helping apply his defensive instructions.
Edinson Cavani
Cavani is linked with the Premier League every year and this window is sure to be no different.
The Uruguayan has played second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic at PSG and despite the Swede’s impending move away, there is no guarantee the South American will become the main man.
He scores wherever he goes and might want to try his luck in England before his age catches up with him.
