Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill is one of the most animated characters you will find in a technical area in management to terms today.
The 46 year old has been a success to many of the sides he has managed and taken them to their first finals for years.
It is managers like this the Premier League is missing, a good old fashioned British manager who is passionate and eager to succeed in everything he does.
O’Neill is currently in charge of the Northern Ireland and is set for a summer in France following a successful qualifying campaign.
Following the tournament O’Neill could be looking for a new challenge after defying the odds to get the Irish to the EURO 2016 finals and make no bones about a number of Premier League clubs would be willing to employ O’Neill is England’s top division once more.

With speculation rife over the last few days about the future of current Everton manager Roberto Martinez, Goodison Park could be the right place for O’Neill to make his Premier League return.
The fans would live the Irishman’s passion and commitment and the same will be expected of his players.
He can work up a crowd to make Goodison Park the place visiting teams dread to visit and will get the fans back fully behind their side once more.
Norwich City
Should Norwich survive relegation this season O’Neill could be the change needed to guide the club to a mid table finish.
He can get the best out of numerous players and will give them a dogged determination to give 100% every time they take to the field
West Bromwich Albion
With speculation as to whether or not Tony Pulis will still be in charge at The Hawthorns following the end of the season, O’Neill could be the man to take control.
He would be able to handle the misfit players and get them performing to their highest level and return the club to a top ten finish which the fans would love to see from their side.
Aston Villa
With Aston Villa heading for the Championship after what has been a poor season all round they could be on the hunt for a new boss in the summer.
O’Neill could be the breath of fresh air that the side who has won just three times this season could do with.
Fans are fed up with the lack of passion and desire shown by both the players and management team and that is one thing that O’Neill would bring to Villa Park with him.
Chelsea
Although highly unlikely what a breath of fresh air it would be for the English game if the Stamford Bridge side put their faith in a British manager.
You have to go back to June 1993 for the last time the club installed a British manager to their top position when Glenn Hoddle was appointed manager before leaving to become England manager in 1996.
O’Neill would be loved by the Chelsea fans eventually and would definitely enhance the squads heart and spirit if ever offered the opportunity to manage the club.
