Things look to have turned a corner at Stamford Bridge ever since Antonio Conte switched the Blues to a 3-4-3 formation, much to the delight of the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern.
The Italian coach has since seen his side jump from eighth to FIRST in the table and our west London locals have been in a constant state of delirious delight.
So, reports from the Daily Telegraph have only added to the good times.
They claim that Conte is STILL prepared to spend big in the transfer market and will owner Roman Abramovich for backing, something the Russian has reportedly gladly agreed to do.
The latter is understood to have been greatly impressed by the manner in which he saw his side blow Everton away 5-0, a result that sent the Stamford Bridge giants top of the Premier League heading into the international break.
After being smashed by growing ever bitter rivals Arsenal, Chelsea have since gone unbeaten and not conceded a single goal in Premier League competition.
Now, Abramovich is thought to be prepared to back the former Italy and Juventus coach with whatever means necessary to further strengthen his squad across the next two windows.
