Tottenham fans in the Tavern are counting down the days until their new stadium is ready to contain 60,000 supporters. With a brand-new stadium, Spurs fans are hoping for some brand-new players to fit in with the incredible ground.
This season, Tottenham have enjoyed mixed success in the transfer market. Davinson Sanchez has been a good addition and looks to be a real future talent, Serge Aurier has shown glimpses of his talent but then Fernando Llorente hasn’t been the ideal back-up to Harry Kane.
The summer transfer window is imperative for Spurs. They must bring in new talent to give competition to the strong starting 11. One player that would be a fantastic addition is Brazilian winger Malcom.
Valued at £27.00 million on Transfermarkt, the Bordeaux winger has been linked with a tremendous amount of clubs following his unbelievable performances. Malcom has played in 29 games in all competitions this season and has scored eight goals plus grabbed 7 assists.
Fellow Brazilian winger Lucas joined the Spurs in January but has struggled thus far to make a starting position spot. Time will tell whether Lucas can be a success at Tottenham but with the plaudits Malcom has received all year long, Tottenham should make him their number one target to lead them towards the new stadium.
Landlords verdict:
Malcom has been a revelation this season in Ligue 1 and it seems certain that the 21-year-old will be on the move this summer. Whether Spurs have the capacity to see off the competition is a question few know the answer too but Tottenham simply have to secure the signature of a man who could single-handily bring them success in years to come.
Thoughts?
