Aston Villa ran riot against Birmingham City in Sunday’s early kick-off as they recorded a 4-2 victory in the Second City Derby.
The Villans have started to find some form under Dean Smith and have now recorded three consecutive wins as they sit just outside the playoffs.
However, it appears as though the three points may have come at a huge cost for the Villa Park outfit as a photo emerged on social media after the game providing many with some worrying concerns.
Sky Sports News presenter Jim White took to Twitter to post a photo of Albert Adomah in a protective boot and on crutches.

The winger, who had an outstanding performance whilst on the pitch and created two assists, is now set to be a doubt for their match against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.
The Verdict:
The photo will be worrying for fans and Smith as if he is set for a significant spell on the sidelines it would be a huge blow to Aston Villa.
Many will be hopeful that the protective boot and crutches are just a precautionary measure, and will be hopeful that he will not miss too much action.
If the smile on Adomah’s face is anything to go by, the injury he sustained may just look worse than it actually is, which will be good news for everyone.
