Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait for their side to get going this season with them expecting a promotion surge.

The men from Villa Park are looking stronger than they have for some time and now it is up to the players and Steve Bruce to make sure they deliver on things.

Indeed, many think that the club will be in and around the title chase – especially now they have signed John Terry.
