It’s been a fairly quiet summer window for the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern thus far, with Antonio Conte yet to really get off the mark.
Indeed, it’s been so dull so far, that the Blues in the bar have actually found themselves talking about the future of a player no longer employed by the club, just to pass the time.
Stamford Bridge legend John Terry has recently been touted as a potential target for Sky Bet Championship side Aston Villa after leaving west London, in what would be a shock move for the former England skipper.
Having bid farewell to his boyhood charges, a move to the Midlands would come as a surprise, especially considering he’d have to drop down into the second tier of English football.
Considering Terry’s standing amongst the Chelsea fans in the bar, such a rumour was always likely to spark a reaction, so here’s how Blues fans on Twitter reacted to the reports.
For me it would be a good move for JT Villa are a big club should not be in Championship but he's earned the right to choose

Hoping JT goes abroad to finish his career, rather than trying to resurrect Villa. He's won it all. Nothing left to prove #CFC #Terry
