‘Anything less than a win would be disappointing’ - Man Utd fans are feeling confident about Spurs clash after latest news

It has been a nerve-wracking few days for the Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern. The Red Devils have had a decent start to the season, but a loss against Huddersfield last weekend has brought a lot of negativity to the Transfer Tavern. If nothing else, the game proved that the club aren’t invincible, and so Jose Mourinho has his work cut out to get the optimism back at Old Trafford.

Unfortunately for him, though, the games aren’t getting any easier, with a tough clash against Tottenham on the horizon this weekend. It’s a fixutre that has the Tottenham fans excited, given that their side has been playing very well indeed. However, in the lead-up to the game, it is the Man Utd fans that are celebrating – after the Red Devils received some good news. Unfortunately for Tottenham, Harry Kane has been ruled out of the fixture through injury, leaving the Man Utd fans in the pub dancing on the pool tables.

Kane has, of course, been vital for his side this season – having bagged 8 Premier League goals. They’re pretty untested without their star striker leading the line, and so Man Utd are in a very good position to take advantage. Unsurprisingly, the Man Utd fans on Twitter are going crazy in response to the news – with many now confident of a win.
