  1. Cleverly is a good player and its far too soon in his career to write him off. Just remember Aaron Ramsey before you start going off on one about the lad not being good enough

    1. Except Ramsey suffered a career threatening injury, and he never hit the depths of Cleverley. Let us not forget a match rating of 5 against the worst team in the world. Cleverley can’t pass more than 5 yards, he doesn’t take people on and he doesn’t shoot often enough to make up for those faults. The mere suggestion that Arsenal would look to dign a player who couldn’t get a game at Wigan is ludicrous

      1. I think at the end of the day Cleverly strikes me as a player who could do really well converting to DM. He currently seems to play the wilshere/Ramsey attacking CM but personally I think if Wenger bought him he’d be like “copy Flamini and you’ll never leave my team”. He’s not the greatest at passes granted but he’s not bad at tracking back and making interceptions. Not only that but he can also be quite a dirty player sometimes which is exactly what Flam was like in his early days. He’d be a good DM for us and would certainly be a Wenger-bargain compared to some of the more expensive options out there.

    2. Well said. Exactly right, although personally, I don’t “fancy” Cleverley as being good enough for Arsenal.

  2. Wenger has long lost it, Arsenal will remain as they are until the day he chooses to leave our dieing club. Cleverly is just one of his clueless brain. My happiest day will be d day he leaves. Yes he has done well for d club but he shouldn’t ruin d club before he leaves. My advice for him is to leave now while d ovation is high.
