Arsenal’s recent Premier League encounter with Everton was a dull one, finishing 0-0 to leave the Gunners in the bottom half of the table.
They were at least able to remain solid at the back, something they have not always been able to do this season (the north London club have kept just three clean sheets in the Premier League), with one individual, in particular, receiving praise from supporters for his display in defence.
Calum Chambers made up part of the backline that was able to keep Everton out and has since gained some deserved recognition for the role he played.
Indeed, it was a strong performance from the 24-year-old, who won seven aerial duels on the day, more than any other player on the pitch (via WhoScored).
It certainly would have given new manager Mikel Arteta something to think about as he looks to address a defence that has conceded 27 goals in the Premier League this season.
