Arsenal fans have chosen Jens Lehmann after they were pressed into picking their favourite ever German player to have played for the club.
The former Borussia Dortmund man came out on top as fans chose the man who was dubbed ‘mad’ for his ability to explode with anger (via Planet Football).

Lehmann joined the club at the ripe old age of 33 from Dortmund for just £1.5m as he went on to enjoy immediate success (via The Telegraph).
He managed to help the Gunners achieve footballing immortality in his debut Premier League campaign, keeping 15 clean sheets as the club won the league title unbeaten (via Transfermarkt).
The ‘keeper made 200 appearances for the club and is most infamously remembered for being the first player to ever be sent off in a European Cup final after his red card against Barcelona in 2006 (via Sky Sports).
