Over the last few years, there hasn’t been much for Arsenal to smile about. Beyond a couple of FA Cup wins, the Gunners have struggled to compete, and winning the English cup certainly doesn’t offset the lack of success seen in Europe or in the Premier League.
When Arsene Wenger left, then, fans were likely hoping for change. Gone was a manager that had overseen years of mediocrity, and in came a boss that had achieved success in Unai Emery.
The transition wasn’t a quick one, with Emery struggling during his first few Premier League games, but over the last few weeks, the Arsenal boss has really turned a corner.
Indeed, as noted on the official Arsenal Twitter, it’s fair to say that Arsenal’s September has been perfect so far. With a 100% record in the Premier League and Europa League, alongside 11 scored goals, it’s fair to say that things have been going very well indeed.
