Arsenal fans have been showing their support for Mesut Ozil on his 31st birthday.

The playmaker has played a bit-part role this season, featuring in just two of the club’s 11 games in all competitions. However, the situation seems to have got worse and worse this campaign, with the Germany international being left out of the squad altogether for the last three games (via Transfermarkt).
This comes despite the poor creativity from the side in the Premier League this season. In Arsenal’s last league game against Bournemouth, Unai Emery’s side had just two shots on target in the 90 minutes with both of them coming in the first-half (via BBC).
In the league games against Aston Villa and the Cherries, the north London giants secured the wins from set-pieces showing struggles in creating chances to win the game.
Fans have shown exactly whose side they’re on as they showed their love and support for Ozil on his birthday.
