Loads of Arsenal fans have been waking up to a story in The Mirror that has claimed they’ve been watching young Matthijs De Ligt. The Dutch defender is only 19 yet has already got almost every big club in the world looking at him, although this story claims that his controversial agent, Mino Raiola, could cost him a move to the Premier League.

According to the article, every one of the Premier League’s big six has sent scouts to watch the talented young defender, yet none of them have made a move for him yet as they don’t want to have anything to do with the troublesome Raiola, who some of them have had bad experiences with before. Both Manchester clubs and Arsenal have had run-ins with the Italian-born Dutchman and he’s just not worth dealing with.
However, the chances of the impressive De Ligt staying at Ajax are slim to none, and it’s believed that he will be allowed to follow his close friend Frenkie De Jong and leave the Johan Cruijff ArenA this summer. However, where he moves to is still up in the air. The only two clubs who have supposedly made an approach so far are Juventus and PSG, and it looks like Raiola really could be holding him back from a Premier League move.
