Arsenal’s England contingent played a prominent role at the 2026 World Cup, with Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke all representing the Three Lions.
While their tournaments produced mixed performances, Mikel Arteta could soon be welcoming another England international to the Emirates as the Premier League champions continue strengthening their squad ahead of the new season.
Arsenal to Make Approach for Morgan Rogers
According to Sky Sports News, Arsenal are expected to step up their pursuit of Morgan Rogers, who England boss Thomas Tuchel has previously described as “absolutely top.”
The Aston Villa forward has emerged as Arsenal’s leading attacking target, with the club expected to make an approach after completing a deal for Christos Tzolis.
Although no club-to-club talks have taken place yet, interest is expected to intensify following England’s World Cup exit.
Villa remain determined to keep the 23-year-old and are protected by the long-term contract he signed until 2031.
As a result, any deal is expected to require an offer well in excess of £100 million.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are also monitoring Rogers, who enjoyed another outstanding campaign with 14 goals and 11 assists in 55 appearances last season. He also featured five times for England at the World Cup, registering an assist in the semi-final defeat to Argentina.
